Hello Teacher Muna! It's okay if you found our channel just recently. Glad to have you here. Welcome to NC! We have 2 types of courses in NC, booked and sudden classes. For booked class, we have time to prepare for the lesson while in sudden class, we don't have time to prepare for the lesson because we will just sit in front of our PC waiting for the students to come in and choose their textbooks on the spot. Don't worry, the textbook itself will guide you because it's scripted, but you still need to have the proper knowledge on the subject because you need to correct the mistakes and answer the questions of the students. In addition, NC provides teaching materials that you can see first in order to become more prepared for the lessons. Aside from the Admin Support, NC has a teachers' forum or group chat called "Open Space", you may go there and search for the topic that you would like to know because I believe most of our questions were already answered there by the senior teachers in NC. I hope I've given you all the information you need. Happy teaching :-)

Kakatapos ko lang ng DEMO, unfortunately FAILED. Because of the word NOISE. He told me na I pronounced it with "s" sound instead of "z". He interrupted me right away and told me to give another chance. Hindi naman sa nag mamagaling ha, umpisa palang dapat binigay nya na sa akin ang lesson , mismo pag ka pasok he told me to start right away. Ako pa nag tanong na kung anong lesson e dedemo ko, ang background ay may mga saksakan and it's not even formal. I also heard background noises, may umiiyak at kumakanta. Yung attire ni Teacher is not formal naka round neck tshirt. I think wala sya sa mood or baka may probz lang, damang-dama ko talaga eh. Sana naman maging PROFESSIONAL naman. Kahit background nalang at sana walang ingay during the demo lesson kasi nakaka distract eh. Disappointed ako sa nag Demo sakin. Teacher Arch please naman follow the rules ng company for background at place of the demo.

Hi Mark. Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comment. I'm sorry that you did not pass the Demo Lesson, however, it is good to know that you have been given another chance to take it and ace it. There are some rules to consider when pronouncing "s" as "z", which until now I am also confused about, that's why you might notice that I likely pronounced "noise" with "s" and not "z" in this video. I have searched google and found out some rules that could help us, however, this is also incomplete as there are still some pointers to consider. Please check below: "When the letter ‘s’ is after an unvoiced or quiet consonant, it is pronounced as a /s/. e.g., hats, tops, works, laughs, what’s, moths. When the letter ‘s’ is after a vowel, another ‘s’, or a voiced consonant, it is pronounced as a /z/ sound. e.g., logs, tubes, beds, moves, clothes, was, becomes, he’s, passes." Regarding the background of the Admin, we should also consider that they represent the students in the Demo Lesson, so it's like the simulation between you as the "teacher" and the Admin as the "student". In the actual lesson, some students do not have professionalism. Usually, they don't have a plain background and sometimes they have noisy surroundings and just got up from bed appearance. Having those things mentioned, I can say that the Demo Lesson is also a training ground for the aspiring teachers to become accustomed to the real class situation.
