Their clothings look like Shamanism celebration clothes. According to Chinese literatures, around 1000CE, the region was settled by tribes of Jurchen people who lived hunter gatherer lifestyle. They were noted for training Seahawks (海东青)

The Ainu are indigenous to the southern part of the island and the Kurils, while the Nivkh are indigenous to the north and interior of the island

What a shame they were spoken over with translation. Would have been far better to have subtitles. I’d have preferred to listen to the language so haven’t bothered with watching the video. Too annoying.
