I hope once EBPF programs will completely remove sidecars containers from our lexicon and we will use DaemonSets instead of sidecars.

Daemonsets with the ability to automatically rescale their resource usage with a VPA, would be really cool. This would be perfect to run your ebpf userspace programs. Unfortunately VPA scaling without restarting the pod is still an alpha feature.
