@@owenrae4531 to me it just isnt the same culture, street riding seems much more synonymous with with skate culture while park riding fits the scooter kid profile much much more

@@kristopherfrantzen7510 yea both street, and “hybrid” which i put riding a skatepark mainly with a street style and trick selection under that category has become way more of its own style than park. yes i agree it is heavily inspired/influenced by street skate culture but the more you look and pay attention to it, scootering has made its own style and culture and majority of the riders respect that and actually take it seriously. looking at tricks for instance we have stuff like 5-0s, over 50s, bunch of manny variations now that people use as casual tricks now that you never would’ve thought would happen. also taking a look at brands and what they are doing. 90% of the brands/companies in scootering now are rider owed/ based and listen to what other riders have to say in terms of suggestions. unlike skateboarding you see a lot more companies that have no clue what skateboarding even is. now scootering doesn’t have that because it’s still small and small enough for there not to be “fake” companies, which is also why scootering is so humble, we are a small community that is doing this because it’s fun not because it’s cool.
