I'm late to the modular game but I'm dedicated to learning as much as I can. I'm gonna see if I can find some more Reaktor videos now.

do you need the full version of reaktor to make this grime beats or just the prime blocks version or free version?
@danapfranz3 жыл бұрын
In my version of Reaktor (6.4.0 (R2)), the West Coast DWG outputs are flipped upside down. This led to 10 or 15 minutes of wondering why no sound was coming from that branch, until I figured out I had it wired from the Out M of the West Coast DWG module to the input of the Paul filter rather than the intended Out T, because Out T is now the bottom of the 3 outputs of the West Coast DWG module.

This is pretty cool! You should add the dual buzz distorted multi mode filter from the Brett Blocks compilation for maximum grunginess. That thing is pretty sweet.

I'm confused in the fact of how can I actually use reaktor to make Sounds? Followed this video step by step but do is use my maschine mk3 on reaktor or do I use reaktor blocks in maschine? Any help please is appreciated!!
@CakeHunter3335 жыл бұрын
Sorry for five months late, but hope this helps! Reaktor is a VST, much like Massive or Kontakt. Maschine is a DAW. So, to use reaktor, you will need to go into Reaktor (either in maschine or in standalone) and create a "new ensemble". With the new update, you can also go "new rack" and start from there. Hope this helps!

Love how he keeps inserting, "simple", "nothing special". Maybe someone with love for the genre should be making the video?
@UK-nf3ui5 жыл бұрын
It is a real simple sound to make on a synth though in comparison to a more technical patch. Don't think he was trying to slag off grime man, the genre does use pretty simple sound design. Doesn't mean it's bad
