Archon designs grow on people over time, probably since they have pre-established followings years before their release. People hated Raiden's design when it was leaked, and now everyone believes it's one of the best. Similarly Mavuika will grow on people too, most probably after we get attached to her in the archon quest. Personally, I loved her from the get go. But the glasses were a bad choice lol.
