Another completely personal preference question, but how does WiF Deluxe compare to Axis Empires Ultimate? Purely solo player here. Complexity doesn't really scare me THAT much. Is one just more streamlined and easier to get to the table? Does one have an easier turn flow? I have the impression (maybe falsely) that WiF really needs multiple players just to manage all the counters.

@@freakyzed8467 WiF Deluxe has greater overall complexity and is best played with multiple people. Nothing else quite hits what it can achieve. AE Ultimate by comparison is easier to get the the table and play. Its not quite as rich an experience but I think for most people it will be easier to get into. I'm glad I have and can play both.

​@@stevendolges8372thanks! I have AE Ultimate and am about to dive in. Thinking there is PLENTY of game there to keep me entertained, and if I master it maybe WiF is the next step. Been playing Blitz: A World In Conflict for a couple years now and thought maybe taking the plunge into its MUCH bigger brother was in order.
