NATO Summit 2024 LIVE: Parliament Leaders Address NATO Parliamentary Summit
The United States delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly hosts a Parliamentary Summit, bringing together parliamentary leaders from the 32 NATO members as well as Ukraine, including 23 Speakers of Parliament.
NATO Summit 2024 comes at a time when Ukraine and Russia are engaged in a deadly war which has threatened security and peace of not just these two nations but also the neighbouring nations. In light of the recent developments in the on-going war, NATO's Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg and U.S. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan deliver remarks at the NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum. NATO Washington Summit 2024 will bring together the heads of 32 member countries who are expected to discuss a range of issues on the lines of defence, trade, transatlantic security and more. The high-level summit which kickstarts today is expected to focus on the on-going Ukraine-Russia war. Keeping in mind the recent deadly Russian strikes at Ukraine which led to the death of more than 35 people, the member nations are expected to prioritise military and financial support to the Ukrainian government and the army.
