Oh i loved this! it's been years since i visited Denmark. But this reinforced my sense that Denmark is an enviable country. I pray all goes well for our friends, the Danes!

Even then, Danes were described as Happy People. Their Protection of the Weakest in Society was always their driving Policy - in Denmark . Unfortunately in the Colonies ( Faro Islands & Greenland ) their concerns were different. A blemish on a Great Nation❤

No a lot of changes to now a days - the farms are bigger and the King turned into a Queen
@ainobredtved31323 жыл бұрын
The King did not turn into a queen - We used to have a King and now his daughter is our queen. The king did not have a sex change.

In short ... after a Denmark/Norway/Sweden explored the idea of a seprarate, Scandinavian, defense community shortly after WW2 ... it quickly became appearant that Norway feared for their huge coastline (1000's of miles) and who they could depend on to defend it ... Norway opted to go with Nato bacause of NATO's sea power, Denmark went with them, because we, ultimately, saw our future with the West. The Swedes had the industrial capacity and wherewithal to go it alone ... And so the cookie crumbles ...

Especially much of Jutland has poor farmland (Mainly due to sand from the ice ages). But with proper fertilizing, manure from farm animals, changing props, oxidation of the top layer, etc. we get the best out of it. There´s a reason why farming came a little late to Denmark - fx, the Danes during the Viking Age didn´t rely much on farming compared to a place like England. Zealand has better soil. Not many countries has almost 2/3 dedicated to farmland, so we are indeed a nation of farmers :).

You're thinking of Norway. They produce 1,398 barrels per day, Denmark only produces 118 barrels per day.
