OH. MY. GOD. I have been a Tom Petty fan since I bought this album new. I listen to lots of covers on KZbin, and many are faithful and worthy of respect. But this, this, this--good God. It's a perfect arrangement. Tom was a studio obsessive, so you were smart to not try to emulate the original track for track. Your band is fantastic. Love them drums, love the bass, love your guitar tracks. And making this a female-fronted track? Well. Just perfect. Vox were out of this world. I know this is 3.5 years old as I write this, but damn you, KZbin! Why didn't I find this sooner? Subscribed.
