This sapphire has been mined in Sri Lanka and cut and polished in Bangkok, Thailand. Its cut to almost perfect angles and depth to bring out the best luster and color with the wow (x) factor. Color is a very nice intense cornflower blue (in this case better than royal blue, and a diamond cut therefore very vibrant and full of reflections/flashes).
