Natural floatmaking materials

Hi Folks,
Sorry for the delay in posts, I have been kinda busy.
I asked a question on my Facebook page tonight about what folk would like to see on here... A few folk replied "Natural materials and how to find them".

Hi Graham, yes,,, I boil champagne corks for about 20 minutes,,, let them air dry for a few days and they are ready to use.

@@TheGapinkerton Well, I'm just starting to experiment with it. It seems quite soft. I can easily dent it with my fingernail. But then, I can balsa as well. But very light and hopefully very buoyant! I heard about it from another float-maker's blog.
