I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY HAIR TWIN!!!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE???!!!!! OK, so let me firstly be generic and fangirling as heck, and get my craziness out of the way. I LOVE YOUR ACCENT!!!! *Typing in all caps with a straight face, but screaming inside* I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!! You have just given me ALLLLLLL the motivation because as much as I have been hairspiration for other people, it is high time I find some hairspiration for myself and TAG YOU'RE IT!!!! I found myself (welp this is going to be longer than I expected) lazily not wanting to do my hair, but I know I need to because I have senior/graduation pics this weekend, but Nope. Just trying to find what style I want to do and the motivation to do it. Even pushed back some grad pics til Tuesday rather than tomorrow. I found your 25min detangling video, and boom I did my first 12mins!!! I really need to deep condition and I'm in no rush so I'm lying here in my shower cap for a little while just watching my hair twin's videos. I just want to say you have picked me up in a way unimaginable. I now know my hair can and will grow to a beautifully, healthy length. I never cared much about length because I'm all about healthy and full hair, but after seeing this video, I'M INSPIRED!!! I'm thinking in possibly two more years, I'll be where you are now. My last relaxer was in March of 2011, and I big chopped in April of 2012. So my 3 year nappyversary is coming soon!!! I wish KZbin did emojis because they would be allllll over this comment. Lastly, I think you are so sweet and just from this video, I can tell you have such an amazing personality with all your goofy faces. I think I've written enough (English majors), guess I'll go actually write a paper that's due tomorrow. Oh btw, if you can't tell yet, I enjoyed the video!!!! Lol.

I must've popped up in your memories or something because I thought maybe you just never saw my post lol. Especially with how wordy I was. I received my degree July 2015 and I am heading to law school in August 2016. My hair has been in protective styles for majority of 2016 and I can't wait to see it after I take down my crochet faux locs in about a week or so. I still struggle with being as patient as you are with my hair, but I know I will get there and PS keeps my hands out of my head. I've definitely checked out some of your newer content, but I'm not on as often. Thanks for the response! Peace, Love, and Namaslay

Shenni Brown My pleasure. Maybe you should consider not using combs as much.
@shenni715810 жыл бұрын
Naturally High I have 4b/4c hair and I feel like I have to comb my hair with tools. The last time I stopped using combs in my hair I ended up with locks and had to cut my hair off. That was not pretty.
@samanthachiamakaonyemenam787010 жыл бұрын
Shenni Brown As your hair gets longer, it'll get easier to detangle and you won't need tools anymore. As for now (I'm guessing you're in an in-between stage), finger detangle first and then run a comb through to ensure all tangles are out.
@MadeByGod19739 жыл бұрын
Shenni Brown I am 3b/3c/4a/4b/4c (some type 1 strands too!) and found that the kinkier the hair, the more slip the products should have. That will allow you to finger detangle and resist using tools as little as possible. Don't give up on the journey. I am taking drastic measures to have waist length hair by the end of the year. You will get there.

@whygeorgia1011 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this video! I made it to 2 years natural on Jan 10th of this year and now I'm in the awkward length phase. I have a long face so my hair length really doesn't suit me.. and on top of that, I have the thickest 4c hair I've ever seen (no exaggeration!). I literally have been stressing everyday about what to do with my hair. A lot of styles that other naturals with my hair length can do, I can't pull off because of the thickness of my hair. Even my mom who is usually very supportive and kind with her words said "if I had your hair I would relax it... Thank God for relaxers!". So I'm thankful for you video because your hair looks a lot like mine. Hopefully my twists will look like yours when my hair grows out a little bit more :)
@NaturallyHigh11 жыл бұрын
Hello hair twin! Glad to hear you're sticking to it! When I was at that stage I used to wear mini twists and french plait them. I'd moisturise my hair daily and seal with shea butter. Why not give that a go? I'm almost positive that that contributed to the results we can see today.
@whygeorgia1011 жыл бұрын
Naturally High I will try it! I have twists in right now, but they do need moisture. Time to research where to buy shea butter. Thank you.
