Ashley Johnson lol are you using a tail comb? When I use a regular comb it takes me a few tries but tail comb usually gets the job done the first time around

I've done this style using flat twist instead of braids. It came out amazing. ♡.♡ Try flat twisting if that's easier for you ladies.

Okay, i have a question. My hair is really thick, kinkiy, 4C big! LOL! And my edges, I can't (don't know) how to make them slay like that, like the gel doesnt make my hair stick to my scalp... I don't know if you see what I mean... I tried different gels and it doesnt work unless i am flat ironing my hair but I shouldnt have to do that right? I'mlike, my hair that thick that i can't even handle the edges! Lol

LauranneAsh idk if you mind my input, but have your tried hair wax? It softens over time but it really gives you that sleekness and shine you want for your hair and applying let's say a light eco styler gel could hold the sleekness and shine in place. I have 4a hair but I did this method 5 days ago and my hair has not moved a millimeter lol. Just a suggestion. Another tip would be to do the style the night before and wrap with a scarf to ensure its perfectly laid the next day.
