There are about 10 crooks to a natural horn the longer the crook the lower the note the shorter the crook the higher the note You put your hand in the bell to get half notes One crook gets a set of notes to get a different set of notes you have to change the crook

There’s something about these old horns that sound remarkable. I don’t even play horn, but I seek to hear this sound. The sound is very reminiscent of a Carnyx. It’s Other-worldly.
