Up and down the West Coast, Wild Salmon Center is working with local communities to prioritize the most important salmon and steelhead restoration actions and then put money on the ground to get restoration projects done. Our science-based approach is already paying dividends. And, with new federal infrastructure and resilience funding coming online, we could see a quantum leap forward for watersheds and communities in the next five years. Natural infrastructure investments mean good things for people, fish, and wildlife.

@@shaunlehman9158 The Canadian commercial fishing is the Highest takers of Salmon coming home to the Pacific NW which has been proven repeatedly in fish genetic studies in Canada commercial fishing and when the Canadians get shut down, we see Hugh returned of Salmon to the Pacific NW The rivers of the Pacific NW aren't the threat to salmon the threat is commercial fishing from Alaska - Canada and local near unregulated net fishing. These Natives will never wake up to stop netting the crap out of the fish when the money from commercial fishing buys all the booze & drugs they could ever dream of having

It's all for nothing if we can't inform Alaskans and work with the Alaskan fisheries.

I understand your meaning but most everyone else has no idea that Alaska and Canadian commercial fishing is far more destruction to salmon that NW rivers issues. The Columbia River salmon 85% of the salmon are taken in the Canadian commercial fishing when the salmon on the home run bound because the Canadians have studied the return routs of Pacific NW salmon, so they hammer on them coming home The Alaskans commercial fishing just slaughters all the salmon from Canadian to Pacific NW salmon and they don't care at all it is all about the money and continued corruption at the Highest state official levels. Now in Alaska the Chinook salmon are near endangered and the corrupted AK fish & game is closing off sports fishing for the Chinook but keeps open the catch of Chinook for the commercial fishing industry so how does that tell you about the corruption in Alaska.
