I never filed the free edge of the natural nail underneath. None of the techs have ever done it either when I’ve had dip. That makes so much more sense. Any time I’ve had dip done by the techs its so thick. 😢😢

Hello, I was super happy when I found out about powder dipping system because I don’t have to pull out the lamp etc but when I tried it on my nails, my happiness disappeared. My nails are very flexible (you can see it especially on the free edge), so any product harder than my nails cracks. Gel polish is great, rubber base is great but dipping powder cracks within 1-2 days no matter if I apply it thick or thin. Any tips how to be able to wear powder nails without cracks?
