As a holistic esthetician, effective natural skincare is a essential to me. My absolute favorite natural skincare line is Dr. Hauschka. I've used this skincare line for over 20 years and now I'm sharing my evening skincare ritual with you using my favorite Dr. Hauschka products. I'll give you an overview of the company, the skincare products and their unique philosophy to glowing healthy skin.
Stay tuned for a video for my daytime natural skincare ritual as well.
I love talking about skincare so if you have questions, please leave a comment and if there are enough questions I could probably do a specific video just for skincare.
You can also book a one-on-one session with me to get some of your specific questions answers. chronically-ov...

I adore Dr. Hauschka. I first encountered them at an herb store I used to work at,. Now on the verge of 40, I am FINALLY learning the value of investing in my skin care--because Dr. H is definitely an investment! Thank you for this information!

Great video! I watched this all tucked into bed--still wearing my makeup. When it was done I hauled myself out of bed and took care of that right away, LOL. My skin is so severely dry and sensitive that I'm having a heck of a time finding the right products. I will give Dr. Hauschka a look.

Oh that makes me so happy! Now I want you to promise me that you'll NEVER go to bead without taking off your makeup! Dr. Hauschka would be fabulous for your dry sensitive skin. For starters I would try the Sooting Cleansing Milk, Facial Toner and the Rose Day Cream.

Hi Christine..... your skin always looks in such good condition...... I suspect that Dr Hauschka will be getting a run on orders 😁 I don't use much other than water and a moisturiser but listening to you talk about using a toner I am tempted to try one. Hope you are keeping well and looking forward to your move 👍🙂

This is so interesting! Especially about the night cream! I've been using ARBONNE for about 3 years which has helped balance my oily skin. I'm 41. Combination skin with wrinkles around the eyes. How does it combat wrinkles? I'd love to learn more!

With the regenerating line, there are products that work to firm and deeply moisturize the skin to help support the skin in its renewal process.

Dr Hauschka does not have a night cream. Their philosophy is to avoid using oils/fat creams at night, only waterbased serum are allowed. Sorry for my English, is not my native language

I've never heard of this skin care line... but as I turned forty this year I've noticed the lines have been showing up and the sun damage from being younger is just mortifying. I made some of your flaxseed setting lotion and I am a fan. Have trouble knowing where to go with my skin I'm Scotch-Irish and German in Heritage but ended up with freckles and a tan when I was younger. You have beautiful skin so I'm here for it when you talk about skincare LOL

It's a wonderful skincare line and although their isn't a specific product for hyperpigmentation, when the skin begins to balance and inflammation reduces, hyperpigmentation starts to fade. Sun damage or hyperpigmentation takes time to remedy, but it can be done. I grew up in San Diego and Mexico and I was a beach baby, so I too had sun damage, but I learned early on the importance of sun protection.

Loved this breakdown of the Dr.Hauschka brand and products you use! Curious if there are any non-occlusive night time moisturizers out there? Or should even people with dry skin skip the night cream to let their skin breathe?
@TheGlambassador
@TheGlambassador 2 жыл бұрын
Most if not all moisturizers are occlusive, but serums are generally meant to quickly absorb into the skin which makes them perfect for nightly use. Ideally yes, even people with dry skin should skip the night cream, as constantly providing the moisture externally makes your skin dependent on it and your own oil production can slow over time. If you are wanting to go this route take your time weaning off the night cream. Find a serum you like and start using it instead of night cream once or twice a week then gradually increase the use of the serum as you decrease the use of the night cream. This allows your skin to gently acclimate to the new routine.

Enjoyed your video. Maybe it’s just me but you didn’t really clearly state what you do with the “cotton diapers”. Is that step just to place on your face to start the process but you’re not really using it to remove/rub off the makeup? I’m assuming that’s what the microfiber scrubbies are for.
@TheGlambassador
@TheGlambassador 3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I didn't think to clarify further. I remove my makeup with the "Cake Off" microfiber sponge. Then I cleanse my skin with the Soothing Cleansing Milk and remove it with the compress soaked in the Moor Lavender water. I hope that helps to clear it up.

Love this video :) Can you please explain at what point do you wash youre face with the lavander bath? before cleansing milk or?
@TheGlambassador
@TheGlambassador 3 жыл бұрын
I explain it more in the second d video. But I use the lavender bath in the wash basin water. That water is used for my super sponge and the compress with my cleansing milk. I use that water to rinse my face and wash off the cleanser.

The second ingredient of the cleansing milk is alcohol. It also has fragrance. How is it soothing?
@TheGlambassador
@TheGlambassador Жыл бұрын
Not all alcohols or fragrance are created equal. A water/alcohol mixture is used to extract many of the herbs used in Dr. Hauschka Skin Care. Alcohol is therefore found in many Dr. Hauschka products. It also helps them to avoid the use of synthetic, chemical preservatives. Dr. Hauschka Skin Care uses ethanol in some of their products, which is an alcohol derived from the fermentation of organic grains. This is the same kind of alcohol found in all alcoholic beverages. The small amount of alcohol in Dr. Hauschka products does not dry out the skin. It is part of an overall formulation composed of other nurturing and moisturizing ingredients and is a tried-and-tested cosmetic ingredient in the concentrations used. And all fragrances are derived from natural sources, and again have been tested for skin sensitivities.

I've been using the Dr. Hauschka rose day cream and toner for years. Love it on my dryish combination skin and being more mature (almost 57) it really helps with any redness. I'm interesting in starting a Dr Hauschka nighttime product but can't decide which one would be right for me. Do you think the night serum would be a good one to try or would the regenerating one be better?
