I'm a ex waver, I started thinning on the top around 26 27 so I just rock the ti fade now, I'm 29 now. But I've had waves since elementary and have used Murray's hair grease from the beginning. My barber said it probably contributed to me thinning because I would use it to much (like 3 times a week) & it clogged my hair follicle, if I knew what I know now I would brush more and use heavy grease less, like if I'm going out, or on the weekend I'll use the grease. No shade to Murray's cause it's the best hold in my opinion, just moderation.

When using pomade, you have to rub it together until your hands are hot as hell. Then once you apply, use a hot rag until the rag itself cools.

Murray's is the best, especially for hold-down while training. You must've brushed wrong in spots before Murray's because Murray's was telling you, "it's better if you brush it like this". You told Murray's, "Nah... I'm good. I'ma keep doing what I do". Murray's was like, "🙅🙆🤦🤷🙆" .......And yet..... You still didn't listen to Murray's

Yo have you ever tried a all natural pomade like the Wolfin Pomade from ColdLabel? It has a similar thick hold like Murray's but it's all natural and it washes out wayyy easier.

Every time I put that in my hair... It looks great... For a lil while.... Then this ends up being the result, can hardly brush it back right. I feel like there is no point in pomade when your hair is trained. I do think it's good for a newb to establish a pattern though.

How do you put too much Murray's in your hair? It's the ultimate lay-down. It brushed out easily and everything. It's not meant to be immediately washed out. It's meant to be brushed out. Slap a durag on after and let your body heat do the rest. Take durag off after about 10-15 minutes. Finish brushing. Use alcohol around hairline to remove excess. Brush again until all excess disappears. Use alcohol or face wash once after for touch up in facial area

You do not use Murrays when your waves are thick. Use it on low cuts. Once you have locked in waves Murrays wont do shit to make them any better
