That looks yummy!! I remember picking blackberries when I was a girl (61 now) in Brunswick Co., VA. I was raised near Lake Gaston. My Grandma would make what we called "blackberry roll." She'd make biscuit dough and pinch off pieces the size of a golf ball then flatten them between her palms and fill the center with berries and a bit of sugar. She'd pinch it together loosely and fill a baking dish with these "rolls." Then she'd sprinkle more sugar over the top and dot with homemade butter. I think she might've added just a bit of water then baked until brown and juicy. Oh my!! The memories you have conjured!! Love you both...you bring joy to me!

This looks so delicious, Nancy! I always enjoy your cooking videos and I am inspired by them. Here's, a random question... Have you all ever tried growing a Meyer lemon tree? I found one at Lowes the other day. I'm in zone 6, so I know I'll have to place it in a container and roll it in and out during the summer, etc., and baby in the winter. I was just curious if you had grown one, or a key lime tree, and if you had any tips or tricks for them. Right now they are small and in the patio containers they came in. Thank you.

what do you recommend spraying our fruit trees with as a preventative, Japanese bettles (or June bugs as we call em) will try and eat all our leaves in the warmer weather, and i usually use some harsh stuff to try and get rid of them, figured there was something a little better for us i could use now thanks and God Bless ( ~Christina from north GA)

Beautiful as usual! Did you plant your blackberries in partial shade? I’m also in Florida, not too far from you. I just purchased 3 blackberry bushes yesterday that was loaded with fruit. My plant that 8k e had for 1 year only has blooms right now. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any help is appreciated

Sir I wanted to ask you a question when you showed how you mixed up your soil. I have five 10 gallon cloth buckets and three five gallon. You did a soil mixture with peat moss, cow manure ,perlite ,potting soil. Can I substitute topsoil and add perlite, and peat moss to it. I also saw a KZbin video where they used the fish head or another type of fish a banana peel, 2 T Epsom salts , bone meal and eggshells , 2 325 mg aspirin, 1 multi vitamin and a calcium tablet all in a pile and put the soil several inches above it before they planted tomatoes. Then they said every two weeks mix 2 T Epsom salt in a gallon of water for each one. Single with a limited income so I have to watch what I spend. Do you think this would work. If you can answer me thank you.
