I have never heard of you before, I was linked to this video from the John Farnham Facebook page. I'll admit, I was skeptical. No one has ever taken on John Farnham's Voice and bested him. Many have tried, many have failed. I can tell you are all brilliant singers, and while I don't think you did better than John, (I highly doubt anyone can be better to be honest...) but my god, did you nail the heart and soul of this song! Thank you, thank you so much for capturing the true meaning and emotion of this song and bringing it new life! That was absolutely amazing! I have goosebumps all over. @@jasonstephens5469 It’s just an issue of taxonomic rank: “vocal play” is “a cappella”, in much the same way flutes are instruments and jazz is music. All vocal play is a cappella, but not all a cappella is vocal play. My dad was always on me for making “mouth noises” when I was a kid. I was later able to thrown Michale Winslow back at him (I think when “Spaceballs” was on cable many years ago) but I would have loved to have introduced him to something like Naturally 7.
