I lost my grandmother when I was seven, and there are moments where I do wish that she was still here. The grieving process is different for everyone, and it takes everybody different amounts of time to come to terms with their new normal. PS: if I don’t have anyone singing happy birthday to me like that, I don’t want it!

I truly understand the grief process of my father, who passed away in May 2018. He was my twin and that I could tell everything too. Their is no time of acceptance. His birthday is June 25. Then my mom passed 12/ 2020, and we were like Sister s. It's so hard. To hear you talk about this, i do not feel alone. Sending hugs and prayers. 🙏🏽❤️💐🤗

My Bestfriend lost her daddy last year November and it’s been one of the toughest things I’ve had to witness her go through in our 8 years of friendship! Her being the youngest of 5,she’s been the one to spend the least amount of time with him and if I’m honest, there was a slight disconnect. She has so much resentment, sadness, anger and unresolved feelings. The best advice I’ve given her is to just breath…understand that grief has no time limit…it doesn’t care about the spaces you’re in when it decides to show up. An sometimes is uncontrollable. I always give her the capacity she needs to feel and I never expect her to apologize for it! Whew, I know that was a lot but you’re not alone! Love you Sunny 💜

Hi Sunny. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and I want to say a lot of changing your body when it comes to fitness is more so of what you eat. Definitely need to lift weights but nutrition is just as important if not as important. When it comes to seeing a noticeable difference in your body, you have to get your body fat percentage down which is directly correlated with nutrition. Once body fat is down, you’ll start to see more definition in the muscle. Saying that to say sometimes people can go to the gym consistently but don’t see results because their nutrition isn’t on point which causes their body fat percentage to still be high. Like chipotle can be healthy if you have it made a certain way. But them calories at chipotle can definitely add up quickly. I’d say also if you want to see a noticeable change sooner try and cut out processed sugars. And adding in carb cycling into your routine. Higher carbs on your more strenuous workout days and all rest days eat low carbs.

@@NaturallySunny for me my more strenuous workout days are my leg and back days so I keep it high carb on that day where I eat all my carb grams for my macros. So if my carb macros are 144g on my high carb days for leg and back days I’ll eat all 144g. For my other workout days so arms, triceps, bis I’ll keep that at more of moderate carbs so I’m only eating around 90g of carbs. And for rest days always low carbs for me so it’s between 50-60g of carbs which is extremely low for most but my body is use to it. Figure out what your macros are according to your goals and carb cycle where rest days are 50-60% of those grams etc. Carb cycling done right will help you see tremendous results and sometimes get over a plateau when you’re body is do use to eating a certain amount. And always make sure protein is being eaten with every meal.

Grief is so hard… I was never a Daddy’s girl but I am still hurt of the memories that we couldn’t make because adults were being petty. But I cherish the ones we were able to make. I pray that you continue to have your support system with you during the grieving journey… I’m thankful for my village and very proud of where you are in your journey 🫶🏽
