Drove through Arkansas yesterday and stopped in Russleville overnight. Was hoping to run into a few troopers and shake their hands. Didn't get the chance. But, as I was going west on 40 I was trying to pass an 18 wheeler and an SUV started riding my ass. I was already doing 8 over trying to pass. So I got behind the semi and let the SUV pass. Next thing you know, SUPER TROOPER zoomed past me and pulled the SUV over. Made my whole day lol.

What a great way to spend Friday lunch break - a nice, chill traffic stop vid from the best channel on yt, and it stars one of the best people out there imo. Trooper Byrd is not only technically proficient at his job. As we can see, he's clearly a genuine nice guy. This twerp should have had a much worse night that night. I hope he was thankful that day.

Kinda nice to watch a mundane traffic stop with The Byrdman. Whoever says Trooper Jacob Byrd doesn’t have a heart under all that horsepower and PIT bravado needs their head examined. He’s as kind and professional as he is given. Dude remained calm and got off light considering his track record so far. Maybe the kindness will hit a nerve this time and set him straight. Wow, that was unexpected, I ( like I suspect most) of the viewers expected to see this Charger turned into scrap metal. But surprise,surprise,amazingly this driver has a brain,(somewhat) and as a result Trooper Byrd cuts him a break. Lesson, you take your medicine, and you get to keep your car. A very surprising video, in that Trp. Byrd gave this guy a real break, I hope he takes it to heart and gets squared up with his problems, and not add to them. Giving someone a break can be a good thing for those on the crooked path, and help them on the right path.The world could use a whole lot more of this reasonable action. That driver did better than winning the lottery! I remember getting pulled over by ASP for going 4 mph over the limit (it was within about 15 minutes of driving into AR for the fist time ever.) I received a verbal warning and got cut loose because it was a couple of days before Thanksgiving.
