@P P Cyberpunk looks 10 times better than this despite being a disappointing game, Forza Horizon 5 is on a whole other level and most AAA games still look so much better than this. The one thing you can't take away from current AAA games is that they have consistently good graphics. Nothing else other than that, though, usually.

GTA non-modded doesn't look better than CyberPunk 2077, but this mod makes GTA much better than CP2077. I don't think you're understanding exactly what I'm talking about when I say this looks better. I'm not talking about the aesthetic of the games, but rather the general rendering, graphical improvements, etc. CyberPunk has nothing on this and YOU'RE not capable of grasping that. I've played each game and I honestly prefer cyberpunks story over GTA, but the graphics of this is much better than CyberPunk lol.

parallax interiors is probably one of my favorite techniques. Even if it's easy to break the illusion, I still prefer it over jpgs stretched across windows

Agreed. First saw the technique in Spider Man Remastered, and it's highly effective. Yes, it breaks if you look real close... But from a distance it's good enough, and really cool seeing so many buildings with so much depth to the interiors.

It's been a long time since my jaw dropped like this... I haven't been impressed by a GTA V mod in years and almost didn't even bother watching but wow I have to say this is breathtaking and actually did the impossible, it actually makes GTA V seem worth playing again for the millionth time... And the editing?! This is just insanely professionally crafted and utterly gorgeous. This looks better than 98% of trailers produced by uber rich studios, including Rockstar themselves. You can tell the difference between a labor of a love and a labor of deadline clear as a day here. Amazing work by all involved, I'm tempted to hurl myself into inescapable debt now and build a gaming pc that could actually do this mod justice but I don't think I can bear the overly familiar story line or setting for long enough to justify the cost. We need new missions, characters, and content to complement these gorgeous graphics I suppose is the culprit at this point but this is still just a mind-blowing effort and the creators should be very proud!

This is the sole reason I come back to this game every 3 months - just to see how much better you have improved the original game. I love playing GTA V single player to this day because the graphics fidelity you are improving helps keep this game looking incredible. Do you have any future goals for the game? Also, have you ever had the itch to do anything with the game RDR 2??? Given what you have done with this, I think you could improve so much in RDR 2!

@@buntew9414 I've got a pretty high end rig, 3700X, 3070Ti, 32GB 3600MHz DDR4. - I play at 4K V.High, around 60fps most the time with some dips below, anything above 980Ti/1070 performance should be okay for 1080p/1440p, Probs need atleast a 3060Ti for 1440p high settings.

They also were able to bump the detail and fidelity significantly.It's pretty bad when modders are able to make something as impressive as Rockstar who has a 3-400 million dollar budget. I expected way more graphically from gta 6 after nearly 3 console generations.

Apart from leaks we actually don't know the size of the map so that's just an assumption at this point and Rockstar is technically known for making improvements graphically compared to the trailers but Rockstar is also known for pushing hardware graphically and gta 6 was pretty underwhelming.

All the creators of this mod have already surpassed R* creators. one thing IWant to mention is R* works for money also their creators work in serious work pressure which obviously adverse their creativity, whereas modders work with free mind and passion, they spent serious hours to improve every single detail and thats why mods are way more impressive than original game. Not by much which is embarrassing for Rockstar. We are talking about a 10 year old game, technically speaking it's running on 15 year old assets and yet modders were able to make something almost identical to gta 6. Let's not forget gta 6 is supposed to be a 3 console generation leap in terms of graphics and it definitely doesn't look it.

nah, just looking at things like poly count, animations, and textures it's obvious where it's meeting the limits of what gta 5 can run. gta 6 looks way better when you focus on stuff like the details or textures. if gta 6 came out 5 years ago instead it would look something like this video

@@Difixed It's still not a huge difference. I expected gta 6 to really take graphics to the next level akin to that of those unreal engine 5 tech demos with photo realistic environments and lighting. Gta 6 reused the color template from 5 and just cranked up the vibrance which makes the game look more like an extension of gta 5 rather then a new entry in the series.

I bet nobody would have guessed we would end up here, but here we are. A trailer, for an early access version of a mod for a game that came out 9 years ago. That being said it looks amazing. 9 years ago the graphics mods at the time were just mainly to increase the contrast and saturation and DOF. This is a tonne of work.
