I have the nature 2 in line chlorinator with the mineral cartridge. My problem is I can't seem to keep my chlorine levels up. The test stripes consistently read low despite setting my chlorine level to level six on the chlorinator dial. Is this normal due to the mineral cartridge? I have been using one bag of shock every week or so to keep some chlorine in the pool.

The result is an exploded cartridge that destroys your pump or forces you to drain the pool to get it out
