I enjoyed this flip through and your thoughts on the paper, etc. I just got my copy yesterday and can’t wait to see your color alongs in this book. That autumn page is gorgeous. I like more detail, so this book is just my kind of thing, and I love Circle of Life, too. I think I may try metallic gel pens on some of those areas you mentioned would like nice in gold.

I got the UK version in my local Big W for $16aud on 2/4. Was a nice surprise. The smooth shiny paper seems to love my Black Widow pencils most, also tried prisma, poly, Derwent artist lightfast & procolour, lumi, Deli, Starjoy gold, Arteza & Mitsubishi Uni.

Welcome back Karen. I much prefer circle of life too. I just bought some metallic paints yesterday and have tried them out but not very good with them. Would you be able to do some paint/ colour alongs with them?

Don't love this one as much as Circle of Life - which I'm colouring cover to cover. But there are some I do love in this book. Some I'll never colour. I do not like mandalas, but he does put a different twist on some of his that I love. Will probably get this book.

I ordered my copy from Book Depository. Still waiting. The pictures look a bit dark to me, not like Circle of Life. I wonder if the US version will be different (not sure if to cancel my pre-order from Amazon). Did you receive Kerby's Mythic World? Looking forward to color in that one.😀

its a beautiful book, she has a wonderful intrincate style that I like very much. but in this one because the subject its nature, the illustrations to me are a bit repetitive. Maybe just a personal impression. Love circle of life is one of my favourite coloring books but this one although being beautiful for me isnt as much impressive.
