If you put the MV aside, the song is (in my opinion) absolutely killer. I don't think people realize just how much money a kpop video costs to make, so it can be challenging for any but the largest companies (Hype, SM, JYP, etc.) to come up with the money for a big budget mv. There was a show a few years ago - Sisters Slam Dunk - and on the show they sent two members on a Korean quiz show to try to win enough money to have a bigger mv.

TBH, you have to sell ALOT of digital singles compared to physical album sales. One reason you see Kpop groups promote as much as possible in Japan is they sell a lot more physical albums and DVDs there, which is a much higher profit (and why Japanese music companies have little interest in promoting outside of Japan). I don't think people realize, for example, how much money the AKB girl groups make (AKB48, for instance, has 40 consecutive million selling singles - in PHYSICAL SALES! - since 2010.)

It's a traditional tribe Zaouli dance, but they did collab with a native dancer in another one of their videos so I don't think they had bad intentions
