East Point Darwin is a beautiful spot where people can enjoy the outdoors amongst wildlife and swim in the lake. Whilst filming, I noticed the birds feeding on people's leftover food scraps on the grassy areas, and thought to myself, this must not be good for them at all. Later on I saw a flock of these beautiful birds near Lake Alexander. It's such a wonderful experience for kids to experience these close encounters with wildlife and it will be embedded within them forever.
Whilst filming I thought these were migratory Shorebirds but they are not migratory shorebirds. The ones with the long beaks are ibis and the other ones were magpie geese. Sorry for the confusion! I'm still learning 😌
