Would this team work anywhere near as well if one or both of the shadows were non shadows? I have bad IV shadows of each but I have PvP non shadows for both. I’d like to try the team out I just don’t wanna waste any resources.

You can transfer that incinerate damage because it would register at the end of the third turn and shadow claw and switch taking 3 turns total? Is that how that works? Can a 1 turn move switch after 1 against a 3 turn move?

Kinda. Damage registers on the turn before the end of the move (4th on Incinerate, 3rd on Volt Switch, etc) so if he threw two Shadow Claws against Incinerate that would take up that 4th turn, putting the damage on the Slash instead. With a one-turn move you can do exactly what you suggested.

the synergy of a 1 turn move with a move that debuffs defense is actually super strong. It surprised me how strong it was. the farm down pressure to a -1 defense opponent is terrific
