This was such an inspiring video. Your art is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your art and passion. The way your love of gardening and nature comes together not only visually but in the process-making is remarkable. I have been exploring more traditional art making and materials. The more I learn, the more there is to learn. It’s a journey. Thank you for sharing your work and inspiring others.

Thanks so much Jyotsna. To think your first lessons in paintmaking were like a spark to ignite this whole adventure!

Your work is absolutely incredible, not only your paintings, but how you document the entire process. So inspirational, I just moved to a homestead and I’m inspired to find out about making natural paints🦋 New Subscriber, keep going with your channel!

Thanks so much! And your move must be such an amazing new adventure! I hope you'll make many beautiful memories there. I recently moved to a new place too, so I'm hoping to document the design process and development of my own paint new garden as well. So stay tuned if that sounds interesting to you 🌿

How wonderful! I am so grateful I came across your video...I learned so much! I would like to try to make some pigments myself. Are there any simple (as aopposed to scholarly) books you recommend? Your paintings are beautiful!!

Thanks so much and that's great to hear you'd like to try it yourself too. Personally, I've learnt most of it from a friend of mine, Jyotsna from lostincolours on Instagram. After that I just watched videos on KZbin and started reading more scholarly articles. But if there are more people interested, maybe I should consider making another video on how to get started, and the safety precautions that are necessary to consider before starting. So to those of you reading this comment, give it a thumbsup if you'd like that kind of content, so I know if there are more people who'd like to learn.
