Nature Wonders Tyrol | Tischofer Cave (Ebbs near Kufstein)

Together with "Da Tiroler", I'm spending a weekend in the beauty of Tirol. One of our trips is leading us to the Tischofer Cave in the mountains of the Kaisergebirge near Kufstein.

Starting in Ebbs next to Kufstein we are hiking up the Kaiseraufstieg into the mountains of the Kaisergebirge.
Steep upwards on a well build track, we reach the junction to the Tischofer Cave and the Hyena Cave.
After a short descent we arrive at the Hyena Cave. There were found highly valueable historical remains of early settlement in the small semi hollow.
A short time later we are standing in front of the Tischofer Cave, stunned.
In this place the oldest signs of settlement in Tyrol have been found. Reaching back to the neolithic age.
