Bro I know that u r not an expert at monster fish,so I want to help u. RedTail Catfish: ok where do I start maybe the fact that they get masive oh boy when I mean masive I mean the size of a tv. Don't buy 1 that is smaller then 6incs.AND they will eat anything ANYTHING that will fit in their mouth and their mouths r biggg. Aligatar gar:Just 3 things about these fishes.There is a reason that they r called 'aligatar gars'.1They get masive.2They are extremely and highly aggressive.3Plz if u want ur arowanas and sinigal to survive plz don't put it in ur aquarium plz.U r beter of with an florida gar. Arowanas:They r excellent at jumping.They will jump out of their aquarium even if the aquarium lid has a very small hole in it. If u want monster fish don't go for a arowana or a red tail catfish or especially a aligatar gar.Instead u should go for a occar, but I have to warn u. They get big but not massive.Do.Not.Put.Them.With.Other.Small.Fish.Or they will kill them. U should not go far a catfish do. Let me tell u a story. I have 2 marble catfish with 3 occars but it wasn't always like this, when I first got them,I had 4 kois and 2 goldfish, day 1 nothing day 2 kills 1 goldfish day 3 kills the other one day 4-8 nothing day 9 bam kill my fav koi😢 and 1 more koi died for some reason.It was 4-5incs and the catfish was like 7incs or so. and I decided to replace my fish with Oscars, I got 6 occars they killed 3 occars.Oh and before i forget NEVER turn the lights off they r nocturnal. And sorry for making this soo long.
