I have seen many reviews in which the tent is assembled roughly, often with obvious errors. You are among the few who carry out the assembly correctly and, almost completely new, also show the disassembly phases. Seeing the entire experience is informative and validates your judgment. All much appreciated

Some motorbike riders choose this tent for touring. Some say this tent can be erected in less than 6 minutes. It can outperform more expensive tents in moderate to heavy rain. It's good to have space outside the sleeping area if it does rain & you need to make a hot drink/food or store some of your stuff. Definitely the one to buy & spend money on a really good sleeping bag & mat.

I have it and love it with the optional vestibule which works great to store my bike-packing trailer with room to spare to cook under. It’s withstood several Texas thunderstorms with zero issues. Super easy setup and light weight. My only complaint is the difficulty to setup the fly first. Mine requires the inner tent to be installed before I can clip on the rain fly.

Great report. Comments of your experience spot on. Tent has superb space, especially with two vestibules. Only problem (but probably gets easier with time/experience) is the complex pole set up. May i give a tip. On Wish you can order a little USB heating pad. It is around 15x25 cm. I strenghtened the edges with a strong textile tape. Connected to a powerbank the heating-pad gets really warm. Around 70 degrees Celsius. I have used it for 4 years now. And by that i can leave the very warm sleepingbag at home. I have a dual setup sleepingbag. And the light one is very small when packed. Whenever i get cold i use the USB heating-pad with a powerbank. I take two 20.000 mili-amp with me allways. And re-charge them while riding on the bike. One of them is more then enough for the whole night. Used that several times when it was just above freezing. The first time i was amazed how warm it will keep you. I push it down around the feet. One of the greates but cheapest product i ever bought. I must admit that i allways take 6 handwarmers with me. I like to do motortraveling for two or three months. And you can never be sure. In case of emergency those little handwarmers can keep you alive. They are very cheap on Temu. Packing light on a motorcycle is a must.

Looks like a great little tent, I have been thinking of getting the Cloud peak 2 for ages but this one looks like its as good if not a little better as that overhang on the vestibule looks like it keeps the water from falling right into your tent inner when you have the doors open! I also like how you can put the outer up first then the inner second (seen that on other reviews)

Bought the Mongar 2 last year, but haven't had a decent chance to test it out yet though. :( I wish they had the darker green then, but it was only available in white or purple... and up here in the north (Sweden) it is really bright in the summer, so a darker tent is preferable. Nice video!

I have a Cloud Up 2 tent, love it, however i found it a little bit narrow (i'm a relatively tall guy) even for a two person tent. So the depredatory capitalism spirit has been invading me recently, for that reason, i'm even more commited to make a completely unnecessary purchase of another Naturehike tent, and i'm thinking about this Mongar 2, it's a bit heavier than the CloudUp2, but seems much more spacious.

Thanks for the review of the Naturehike 2 Mongar tent! I've been looking into tents to use backpacking (I'm new so I need all the gear). I don't want to drop a bunch of $$$ on a really expensive tent until I decide I like backpacking or not. nice video how cold was it in nighttime ? I asked myself maybe it is to much mash and could be little bit more air circulated and slightly colder like the cloud up 2..... because the Mongar has much more mash. what you think ? I am between the cloud up 2 and the Mongar, will use it for 2 person, though not to tall persons =) what i like at the Mongar 2 is that the sidewalls are way better for more roomy feeling. best regards from Germany
@outdoorgaz52 жыл бұрын
Hi, I didn't find it cold but you're right it's all mesh inside. I'm used to sleeping in a hammock under a tarp so feels more sheltered than that. Thanks for watching 😁
@saifaldin_2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure how cold it would be for your weather, but the mesh on the mongar is quite densely woven. With the fly on top and doors closed, there’s not that much direct airflow (although it does vent very well). I personally prefer the 2 door design & side entry for 2 persons or more. So I would chose either the mongar or star river (this one is like halfway between mongar and cloud up)

@@outdoorgaz5 Ahh! This is a problem I'm having. I'm used to my Clark Hammock; it has a weathershield as well as a tarp and it's cozy and very comfortable.
