Natures Poem | 1 hour handpan music | Malte Marten & Orlando

It’s so beautiful when students turn into friends. Actually this is my approach on every workshop and retreat. To not see students and clients but to meet friends and fellow musicians.
Orlando attended two retreats so far and every time I am visiting LA now a meetup with him is a must.
Grateful for our connection and such a blast to see him evolving as a human being and handpan player. Love his grooves and pattern ideas SO much! 🤍🤍

NICE. I've heard a couple guys playing these drums in a hotel lobby. (It was enjoyable to hear). Those drums make a tone a lot louder than I expected. A slap of the palm and everyone hears it. Even the light touch is heard.

You both are in sync with each other. Complementing each other's musical pattern. Was this practiced before recording the video? It seems to be. But it feels like an open jaz thing. Players knowing the other and they build on it. Handpan jaz.
