Just look at the way the harbour wall at Castletown is rebounding the waves back in, only for them to collide with the next set. We have massive amounts of energy here. Not a ferry day!

All this harping on about fossil fuels and low emissions cars is just a side show. The main problem is too many people. All across the world we should be telling people 1 child per family, end off. Rain forests are being destroyed for food for humans or food for animals. Since the millennium the world has grown by nearly 2bn people...... totally unsustainable. IMO Sir David Attenborough should bring this to the public attention as he did with plastics, but the politically correct BBC probably wouldn't allow it to be aired.
