the backstory is basically the same as Dracula's tragic backstory in Castlevania. It's a very compelling one. And goddamn your acting is so good with the emotions and stuff

Goodness me, as much as I would love a happy ending, my brain went wild coming up with something rather bittersweet instead. And it’s purely because the whole time I was listening my heart was pounding with anxiety. Plus, it’s kinda a concept that not many stories of reincarnated lovers deal in. What if, because of how brutally things ended, or after so many lives ending in tragedy, she doesn’t feel safe in this place anymore? And worse, she doesn’t feel safe with him? What if all that she feels when walking through the hallways of this mysterious castle is impending dread. “It’s so strange to be in a place that’s so familiar but not at all comforting.” She thinks. And when the memories of the past do start to come flooding back it’s none of the good times. She doesn’t remember late nights reading books to each other in the library or dancing in the grand ballroom, she remembers bleeding out in the courtyard after being chased and hunted down. And by god, him? She may “remember” him, but she doesn’t recognize him. The years alone agonizing over what happened have turned him into someone not even her past self would recognize. He’s desperate and angry. Where once there was selfless loving passion there’s now selfish possessive desire. She’s scared. She’s doesn’t feel anything for him except fear. And the question then after is, will come he back to reality long enough to realize that? Will he realize that she has fallen out of love with him and that there’s no way to revitalize it? And will he have a moment of self reflection long enough to realize that if he turns her she may even grow to hate him? If he tries to keep her despite her desire to leave will she be angry enough to try and take revenge? Or worse, try to take her life because she can’t fathom living for eternity? By god, my brain was forcing me to think about this for a whole day after I first listened to this audio and if I didn’t get it down I knew it would never leave me alone, so here! Take it! TAkE tHe ANgsTy’S! I DON’T WANT THEM ANYMORE! (I kinda do though.)

Well, there was a bit of past monster romantic, reincarnation, there are people are comparing it to Dracula from Castlevania and the tragedy does work. Over all, you did a phenomenal job with the voice acting and tha author did a fantastic job writing the script. 😊 Edit: Okay, why did this part (11:00) reminded me of that one Twilight reference... For some reason.

You did a excellent job conveying the speakers pain, I think the main character went about this in the wrong way though, but his continued heart ache and loneliness might have contributed to that. He should have tried being patient and let the listener recover their memories in their own time. He should have invited the listener to stay at the house for awhile with the pretext that they might find the reason why they were drawn to the castle. Then during their stay they could have gotten to know them better and once or if the old feelings were rekindled, then he could have told them the truth. I think how he went about it would have scared them away instead. Just my two cents.

_I _*_want_*_ to remember…_ she thought, trying to calm down after his outburst, trying so desperately to remember more than the vague familiarity of the halls she now walked through, she hoped that maybe her.. her room would spark something, he seemed so… so genuine, so heartbroken… so dadgum familiar… Looking at his face as they went, brows knitted in thought, she determined that yes, she would stay, and yes. She’d been drawn here for a reason. Not just some arbitrary random happenstance. She was going to remember if it killed her… again..? So glad I’m not the only one vying for a part two cause like- DAYum do I want to remember lol
