I don't know why the author of this story thinks girls are better behaved than boys. Some girls behave much worse than than boys. One cute, little blond in fifth grade told the funniest, filthiest jokes to our class. I've never heard filthier ones. I teach swimming and have found some young women behave much worse than boys. These young ladies range from 5 to 20 years of age. Worse yet, some truly horrendous crimes have been committed by women over the years. Griselda Blanco, the black widow, was a Colombian drug lord and big time drug dealer in the US.

Been forced to change gender should be illegal. The desire to change gender is down to the individual, but anyone forced even as a punishment is never acceptable. Thankfully in my case my Aunt never disclosed my desire to be a girl and certainly never forced me. We will have to wait and see what happens in this one.

lol in the real world many in his place would bolt and take their chances on their own , I myself would have tried to find any male clothes and cash before bolting and taking my chances ( this is because I refuse to be forced into something I didn't want to do ) if I couldn't find male clothes I would find the police station and tell them what was going on and would rather go to an orphanage than be forced. As for the boy in the tale well he was a total slob and really needed a wakeup call , but putting him on hormones is an extreme step too far if boy didn't want to be that way , the petticoat punishment is a far as it should have gone. the boys parents were way to soft with this boy and his behavior shouldn't have required his aunt to convert him into a female, she sound like a person who has been wronged in he past and now hates all males hence the immediate start on hormones. like I said a step to far to the extreme

And it's sad that the society is so harsh about people who prefer a different gender expression, or like things from the opposite sex. I mean it's just stuff.
