I remember when my mom and I would go for a night drive. This would play on the radio as I look at the passing lights on the road. I remember the empty roads with the light rain on that car, making the light luminous. There was only the sound of the road and this song in the car as it was like we were on a different planet in my childish eyes. I loved those times where it was just a time to enjoy the sometimes slow style of life. When we went out, it was when my dad was away training on base or in war. I think it was for mom to clear her head. For me, there times where I would cry worrying about my dad's safe return. This song happened to turn on and I started listening closely. When I would have negative thoughts I would sings the "lala nananananananana lala" part, keeping the thoughts out. People always wondered why I was so happy all the time and guessed I was ignorant to the world. Even now, I am back to being that positive person that still acknowledges the bad. It is not like I never think about it, but when it gets overwhelming, I drown it out. Then find a solution that won't make my mental state worsen.

When i listen to this song, i just think about the old times. My early childhood. I remember how my mom and i were listening to this in our car on our way to my kindergarten (it was my last year in there). It’s just the best song that i know.

This song is something I can relate to. My parents had gotten me a therapist for my depression and suicidal thoughts. Nothing has changed. My therapist don't fully hear me and thinks everything I do is a cope like DAILY THINGS is a cope, me not having friends at school, parents don't understand me at all, I listen to this everyday. This is something that helps me, everyone leaves me, friends family u name it. If I make even one friend they either go off and move or etc. I get way to attached to people in fear of them leaving and me never seeing them again. when I tell my parents how I feel they just say "enough with the negitive!!!" Or "STOP BEING SO NEGITIVE!!!", etc right in the middle of it. They act like they give a shit. But they don't. I fucking hate everything. I used to cover my ears and say "LALALALALALA" very loud to block out the "negitive" as my parents say. I still do this to block out my suicidal thoughts and it works the more I turn the volume up on my phone and cover my ears and whisper "lalalala" at the same time the boy dose in the song, I realize that sometimes I notice that I rock myself back and forth as I do it. I'm comforting myself sience no one else will bc their to "busy" and the more the thoughts fade and disappear, I do this every time to help the thoughts go away. This song has always been my true cope. I'm so glad this version is out. I love it so much ❣️ I'll forever use this to help myself in a healthy way.

Unlike some of the people here I don’t listen to this when my parents argue (I mean I do when my dad comes round just to argue with my mom but he doesn’t come round much anymore, luckily he’s never lived with us so they don’t argue much), instead I put my earphones in and put it on full volume to block out the sound of my mom yelling at me from downstairs, saying that I’m lazy, weak, can’t be bothered, useless and that I’m wasting my future. Little does she know that I am fighting to stay alive and I starting to lose.
