This year i noticed My Labrador was starting to go blind , so i drove him 3 hours to visit the best eye surgeon in the country, however the diagnosis was Retinal Degeneration with no cure. And was told he will lose all his vision within months , on the way home this song came on the Radio and i remember him sat in the front seat looking at me , probably for one of the last times.

Very few musicians can touch the heart of many people but NB has done that. This song is beautiful and the words are very emotional. I remember when my dog I had all my life for 15 years died. He had cancer and he was very old and he didn't have a good chance of surviving. They removed the tumor, but it was already too late because it had already spread to his lungs. He had about a week to live so I tried to make our time last but he couldn't move because it was too painful. My father took him to the vet again and they say that they can put him down to end the suffering or let him stay until he dies. We chosen to let him be put down but they would do it the next day. He died over night just before dinner. I wish I spent more time with him. Please spend more time with your dogs because you never know whats going to happen.

I had a pitbull. He was very sad at the shelter and he wasn't like all the rest he quietly sat there in sadness. The first dog we got. He got parvo and we saved him. He grew uo with many hardships but with the love of the family. Last year we found out he had cancer. Lymphoma... we could prolong his life with the kemo. But it was not a riddance of it. All went well but the last kemo wasnt as planned. He didnt respond well. We had no choice. Rest in peace Bruno.

Kenny Anderson Sorry for your loss :( My dog was my best friend, and he was named Manny, He died when I was 10, and we were both about the same age. I knew him ever since I was first home after I was born, and we shared such a great bond-- He was closer to me than my own parents. We shared everything. For all I remember, he wasn't always too active, but he was amazing. He died of spleen cancer.. And with the way you got Bruno, that's similar to my newer dog. He was sad, and quiet at the pound. He's doing much better now. EDIT: His year anniversary was when I edited this. May 12, 2015. I can't believe he's been dead for a year.. :'c
