I'll never forget I was a little kid and my Dad took me to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I asked him if we should tell Mom first and his answer was "it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission“ I'm pretty sure that was the source of a lot of fights for the next 10 years they were married😂

Of all of the thousands of doggo videos that I have watched over the years I can CONFIDENTLY say that this has got to be the most insane bunch of canines that ever existed. Not one single one has an I.Q. over 3. All said, they are the cutest bunch of underachievers that this world has seen. Lucky pawrents, you love them so much that in the end, that one toothy smile from them and all is forgiven. I’ve been in your shoes and I wouldn’t exchange their chicanery for anything in the world.

They'll eat whatever they come across on the reasoning that if it turns out not to be food, they can always throw it up later. cats eat til their not hungry anymore, knowing they can always hunt something if they get hungry.

@@DonnaMayStanish yes I read it in an article I think by a vet specializing in dog maternal health. But I don't know the primary source studies for this. So is it certain countries that have this high mortality rate? Or just across the globe? I'm not sure. My understanding is it's related to the shortened muzzles like you said plus too narrow birth canal (like Pomeranians). I think all births need to be c sections and maybe breeders don't always book these procedures and that's what results in high puppy death. even with this medical care I think there is a very high puppy and maternal mortality rate. I was going to get one but decided not to. Some things just were not meant to be and people breeding creatures born to suffer, or who have all these medical issues seems sadistic (not that people with French Bulldogs know this so I don't blame them for getting them if they didn't know). Just explains the breed's high price.

if you're gonna have a dog you need to be responsible with the amount of food you give them. dogs have no self control and will eat as much as possible......if you dont limit their intake they can get obese.....and obesity dramatically shortens their lifespan and reduces their quality of life..... if you give your dog too many treats you arent spoiling them, you're doing them A LOT of harm......
