Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe
Dry Ingredients:
325g Allpurpose flour
345g caster sugar
60g cocoa powder
1tsp baking soda
Wet Ingredients:
225g buttermilk
225g coffee( 2tsp instant coffee powder + water)
3 grade A eggs
195g Vegetable oil
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160C. Measure the dry ingredients in a bowl and sift them all together. Set aside
2. Bring together all the wet ingredients in another bowl.
3. Mix both of them, and stir until everything incorporated.
4. Prepare the cake pans, line them with parchment papers.
5. Evenly spread out the batter and bake them for 30-35mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients:
400g dark chocolate
200g heavy whipping cream
100g unsalted butter
Method:
1. Boil water in a sauce pan.
2. Into the bowl add all 3 ingredients and bring it on top of the sauce pan. Simmer it and let the ingredients melt and come together
3. Keep it in the refrigerator. Let it set for min 2hours.
This recipe makes one tall 5inch cake or a 2 layers of 10inch cake.
