The interior style reminded me of a multi-million dollar mansion. The woodworking is phenomenal, the patterns match piece to piece instead of randomly. Some craftsmen really cared putting this catamaran together. It looked like Andre had fun, thanks for taking us along Victoria and Rico! I look forward to next week.

Goodluck 👍Unless you dont know what style is, which seems plausible. I don't see anything in this catamaran that you'd find in a typical home, but you do see style like this all of the time in mansions.

Not a fan of all electric. But, to each his own. I am impressed with the 3,000nm range. Makes Miami to BVI round trip a breeze. Fuel is so much cheaper in Miami than BVI.

If you go with sail and encounter rough water and/or high winds, you only have your small auxiliary engine for backup. It's probably not going to be powerful enough to get you out of trouble. With twin engines, you have much better chance of turning into the seas or wind. I've seen videos of sailboats getting driven up on the rocks and swept under bridges. I'd go with the safety of the marine engines over sail anytime.

Sunreef Cats are probably the best Catamarans on the market ... they are apparently now building 49 metre power cats or 160 feet long two sponsion's/hulls 160 feet long ... that's a lot of boat ... back to the 60 footer ... i would go for the galley on the main deck and have two suites on either hull ... Sunreef cats are so changeable in the layouts that shows the flexibility of the company ... Rafa Nadal the Tennis player owns the 80 foot version of the Sunreef power cat ... i am glad Andre had a great day out with you both ... and thanks for sharing

The only downside of owning a big cat is there beam. Most marinas were designed many years ago and didn’t configure catamarans beam. Other than that, they are a win win!

I was really interested in the engine room and all I got to see " That's the engine and then you left not saying how big they are and generators, water processing. In fact I went to the engine room part of the video and nothing. Everything that was important to the operation of the ship was left out. You should at lest get a paper and read off it and tell what's really matters.

I like FRANCE, the SUNREEF yacht builder is French, the owner of the OCTONE 60 is also French, the owner has a second SUNREEF engine but the size above which is also called the OTOCTONE 80. it's yachts are beautiful and the price is commensurate with their quality. i can't wait for the moment when they will take out their solar powered electric yachts.

Nice Yacht!! Puts the 52 Grand Banks I have to shame,,,,,,, kinda. Hahaha. It also about 26 years newer!! The space on deck is almost too much, if that’s possible. The cabins were definitely small, which can be a catamaran thing. It’s still quite an amazing yacht with a phenomenal range! You could almost motor from Vancouver, BC to Honolulu. 2700 miles does not leave a great buffer zone, but if you were to really want to do that I’m sure there are options to extend the range by maybe 10%. I say this as a friend used to sail that distance every year but it became too much work as he got older. He had a Hunter 40 as his last yacht. He said he may consider doing it in a power yacht, but hasn’t decided for sure due to COVID-19.

The engine is a Cummins QSM11. Just like most of Cummins marine engines it is reliable the only weak point is the exhaust system tends to warp and develop exhaust leaks. Would have been nice to see a pair of derated MAN I6 or Scania DI13 instead.

Nice review. I like this boat and I like that it is customizeable. Things I would do different.6, 1. Galley up - I dont need to host that many people. 2. Make a proper watch station with office space at the main level helm. 3. Add 1 or 2 proper helm seats at main level helm. 4. Remove all crew quarters. 5. Make 1 hull complete owners hull and use the front crew quarters as extra walk in closet. 6. Make the interior of the fly bridge smaller but built in, kind of like the Aquila 54. Have space for a crane/davit and extra tender up there. Cheers

Sunreef delivers such an amazing product. I would definetly choose power over sail, when you consider the range which is quite reasonable for a boat this size, even at 10 kts you are good for 2,250 NM. To average 10,000 kts per year will keep your fuel costs $60K or less, cheaper than the insurance! You do such high quality reviews I can see Yacht Companies tripping over each other to get you on their boats.

Sunreef makes absolutely amazing Cats both Power & Sailing.. I fell in love with the Sunreef 80 'Aria' power cat when I saw the video of it. Even at 20ft shorter.. this Sunreef 60' is absolutely glorious. I'd love to one day own a Sunreef Power Cat in this range. Question for Rico: I just got the Media Mod for my GoPro Hero 9. I'm curious, which gimbal are you using for your set up?
