Bering yachts and Alexi build the strongest and most innovative yachts on the market! I've been in very bad sea conditions before and I'm telling anyone reading this . You don't want to be caught in anything that isn't built like a bering yacht! The sea can destroy a grp hull in seconds! Thanks Nautistyles for helping people to get to see a man and company that produces an amazing product!

Alexi is the kind of guy that really inspires confidence - If I were spending huge money on a boat I'd want to buy from someone who's intimately involved, passionate about his products, who knows everything about the build. Someone who also knows the why, and the how and what the other alternatives were and who is constantly looking for incremental improvements.

Indeed. It's really awesome looking back at the Bering 70 and 77 videos knowing that they've decided to order a Bering 70. They really got on well with him and seemed to jive with his style of manufacturing, hindsight is 20/20 after all. That's a heck of a lot "dang near superyacht" boat comforts for a couple of youtube boat tour guides! I can't wait to see what "bland" interior they choose compared to this polished black panels and mirrors look, cocaine fueled monstrosity. Like what pilot wants a mirror hung over their legs reflecting their face first thing in the morning? That's so gross!

Wait until the fingerprints begin to show on the gloss black and mirrors. Those will make it less confusing for the guests, who will likely be crosseyed at the start. This was a design that might have worked well in part of a home, but I don't care for it on a boat at all.

If you're looking for nice anchorages, go about 250 nm west of Antalya, in the Gulf of Fethiye. on the west side, there's a small bay named "Küçükağa Koyu". It's rather small, but the center is like 40m deep (while you're less than 100m from the beach). You'll have to anchor stern towards the coast and tie your stern to a rock (tieing up to trees is stricty forbidden!) and leave your anchor in 20m of water, while your stern is in 5m...

Honestly, I kinda like the interior design but I wouldn't have one done that way. The dark, high gloss would be great fun for a shorter period of time. If you are going on a short, week or so cruise, that interior would be great. However, for longer periods of time, I think a lighter, more traditional interior would be more comfortable. It's like a night club. The atmosphere is fun and great for a while but you wouldn't want to live there. On a long passage a lighter interior will reduce that feeling of being cooped up and, I think, would be more comfortable.

I will be honest, the shallow draft 70's are not my favourite but I do actually like the interior of this one. Personally though the 70's are just a little bit too much of a compromise on space compared to the 72's or 75's but I am certainly biased by my fondness for explorer and trawler yachts. What I do love about this yacht though is the layout. The aft galley certainly opens the space up to be used as a dual zone entertaining/living option. I also love the idea of the direct feed camera to the large screen in the salon, the backlit headboard/feature wall in the VIP was stunning, the large lounge seat in the pilothouse was great too. The flybridge galley was nice, as was the bow storage solutions. What I didn't like is a fairly small list. The crew area, fantastic to see on this size of a yacht and comparable to what you see other builders offer in the smaller vessels, however I don't feel like it was really up to Berings usual standards, but that is a pretty high bar. The Salon/Galley breaker panel was also positioned a little awkwardly but I freely admit I can't see a better place it. Overall its still a fantastic yacht with a commanding presence that will undoubtedly make it's new owner a very happy person indeed.
