Durga Puja is much more than dressing up and looking pretty for three days. It's about respecting the Women in all her forms. That starts with the wives, mothers, daughters, and daughter-in-laws. The domestic lady workers, other females who may not be so glamorous. It starts with respecting each every women and seeing Devi Durga in them...not just on one day but all days. Be the Devi that We personify. Now days it's just a ritual.

It's not only respecting women but showing due respect to all the human beings and of course nature. It inspires us to take an oath of grasping the human values and apply to all your constructive deeds towards establishing the good over evil. Devi Durga is an icon of positivity and a source of supreme divine energy that gives us a lesson to keep all our senses to be active before accomplishing any good work, each of her ten arms is a deep significance of 10 different senses what we humans have . So it is all about the realization of our human values and applying it towards the betterment of this society irrespective of cast and gender .
