Congratulations! My Canada visa was approved in the first go in 2019, without having a US visa. Because I had sufficient funds in my bank account and plus a good travel history. Canada is easier to get than US visa. So I would recommend applying for that first, because if your US visa gets rejected, then it will affect your chances of getting Canada, UK or even Schengen visa.

Getting Canadian visa after US visa is like cakewalk. There is something known as CAN+ category in Canada visa. Canada visa form asks if you have valid US visa or if you have travelled to Canada before in past 10 years. If answer is Yes, you get fastracked for Canadian visa, not required to submit any financial document. My parents and siblings got their Canadian visa in 2 days in 2021 when it taking 6+ months for others as they had US visa.

Veer g mere biometric 14 may 2024 nu hoe. And 1 June 2024 nu refused hogya. 179 reason Financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel. The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in this application. Mere kol fund 1251000 si. Fr v refused hogya.

Lucky you :) I travelled to 19 countries, including UK, Europe, countries in Asia and Australia. I also have USA B1/b2 visa. I applied for Canadian tourist visa in 2020 and after more than two years today on 2nd May 2023 I got the results and they rejected my visa. Such a shame, Canadian visa officers are so unfair, I have seen people tell lies, use fake documents and get visas. While I am totally a genuine tourist and they rejected my visa after two years even I am still holding valid USA visa. Looks like my story is the worst than anyone here :(

Brother there is seriously something wrong with canadian visa officer.. my father and mother got canada visa without any financial documents cause my father was renewing his canada visa with a valid usa visa. But my wife got rejected when i have usa and canada both valid visa

I've witnessed cases where people intended to visit Canada only temporarily but ended up overstaying their visas. Meanwhile, we, as genuine visitors with strong supporting documents, get rejected. This seems incredibly unfair to us. :(

Congratulations Dear.. my question is, why OTTAWA is showing on sticker? I got 3 visas, they always mentioned the city name where you applied for process.. i.e. i am in Poland so they have mentioned Wasrsaw. In your case it should be from Lithuania or Estonia? Right

Its the visa office that issued it. Since he has a US visa now, so he qualifies for a special category of fastracked visa queue (known as CAN+) . Those cases are not processed in Delhi but CPC Ottawa. He got his visa within 5 working days whereas it's taking months if someone doesn't qualify for CAN+. Even my parents visa says CPC Ottawa, even though they applied from India as they too qualified for CAN+ due to their US visa.

@@sanjayarora4769 thanks dear.. i also possess US valid visa... infact it is my second US visa.and i got my 3rd Canadian visa. I also have EU residence card and travel history of more than 55 countries.. including Australia and far eastern regions. The point it is not hard and fast rule to qualify Can+ . My application took 12 months to get approved and i got only 6 month visa..however my passport and Biometric are valid until 2033. So its on VO discretion. In my case i feels they discriminated.

@@Romeo76 CAN+ holds valid, maybe your case turned out to be an exception. I dont know if you follow "Canadavisaforum", many people applied a second application. Their first visa application was pending for 2 years, applied again and got visas in few weeks. Canada immigration became much shittier during COVID. My parents applied in early 2021. Took them 2 days after biometrics. Sibiling, unmarried applied in mid 2021, again Canada visa issued in 2 days. My aunt Canada visa was rejected 3 times. She applied in 2022, this time she had US visa, approved in 4 days. Also, not sure why are you telling me your travel itineary? Who cares whether you have European residence permit or American green card?
