In this Snapseed video, you will find some handy tips and tricks to make the images eye pleasing. Various tools including Curves, Double Exposure to replace the sky and others with masking were used to make the image dramatic. I shot the original image on Pixel 4a.

Hello Nagesh. Your video tutorials for Snapseed have helped me greatly. Since you do quite heavy editing to some of your pictures, I wonder if you shoot primarily in Jpeg or Raw format?

Appreciate your words! Thank you. I shoot all in jpeg format only. The dynamic range is quite good in my Pixel phone, so can make different colors pop and play with the light without losing too much of quality.

All the techniques used here have already been demonstrated by NavEdits in the past. This amazing video is a comprehensive summary of all that he has taught us, and the final result is both beautiful and dramatic. Many thanks Nagesh. The most important technique employed here is replacing the sky, from 0:23 to 2:45. There are more examples of similar methods by NavEdits, but the youtube robot keeps deleting my text, what a shame.

i tried for my self using android phone. And follow your step. Whena drag original photo with Double exposure, image is loading and hang like buffer.. orginal photo cannot drop

In my snapseed (Android version) double exposure works only to add photo and dosen't have any other option for masking etc

It should be there. After applying the image through Double Exposure, tap the stacks icon on the top right. From there View Edits and choose the last Double Exposure effect.

Thanks for your videos, but I still do not understand why you turn the image black and white then mask with curves to add the sky. Can you explain more as to the reason? Regards Mick

Not an expert by any means but in making the image black and white the sky overlay only reveals in areas that are completely white and hidden in areas that are completely black. So the effect only shows in the white areas. This guy is a master so I’ve had to go over the edits several times.
