I can honestly see Eternal Fire becoming one of the best teams in the world. If their star players keep up their performance like in this EPL, then I could totally see them coming top 8 or even 4 in this year's Shanghai Major. I will be rooting for Navi though, so take that with a grain of salt. Great video by the way, becoming one of my favorite recap channels.

I doubt this form is sustainable in the long run. They can of course pop off in individual events like this, but the baseline is probably quite a bit lower.

I like them but I disagree. They've had really just a couple good runs this year and they more often than not look very rough

they’ve had a great run i give them that, but it just seems like EF played a really inconsistent style of CS, doing random pushes through smokes or random aggro plays that caught vitality and navi off guard, it’s fair to say they were really lucky this tournament, although they’re individual performance was also top tier

@@imalemon3841 Yeah I would agree with this. I could be wrong but it kinda sounds like they're using Tier 2 strats in Tier 1 and just catching the top teams off guard. They're really just relying on their top players to do the heavy lifting.

Even though I'd like to say EF is going to be a top 5-8 team, I feel like to stay at this level they NEED to have at least woxic and xantares playing at their peak. I mean they were playing some of the best CS of their life this event to try and carry them to the win. Considering that, I'm not too sure if they'll stay at this level but I hope they do, makes things more exciting edit: also I think Navi needs to look at their gun rounds a bit, they were leading 10-5 or 9-6 every map they won... and then choking to make the game much closer (13-11 or 13-10) than was needed

Im really hesitant about the sustainability of this EF lineup in the long run.Its heavily dependent on performance by woxic,xantares and wicadia.Wicadia we know is incredibly inconsistent so i doubt these performances will be repeated.Woxic is class,and he has been improving his form recently so I am very optimistic,and Xantares is Xantares. The weak link I think EF should look to replace is definetely Calyx,too inconsistent and not good enough.Majer is a really good IGL,and showed his brilliance in this tournament.

Both teams are pretty likeable. Blad3 is fantastic, Aleksei is so easy to root for, jL is personable. Majer is so easy to root for, absolutely love him. Really makes it fun when both teams are easy to root for.

its always had to say but theres been many times where good IGLs get on lineups that dont buy into the system. Hes a micromanager and sometimes star players dont like that. Him and Blad3 clearly get along well which certainly helps

​​@@JasesAceYou clearly didn't watch the game. Jl wins 1 round partly because of EF fans and suddenly Navi is crowd cheating :D. Ef won so many duels with actual words coming from the crowd. 1v1 w0nderful vs maj3r would have been Navi's round 100% without crowd cheating.
