I'd recommend learn by doing, so try building some clones of other simple apps. A habit tracker is a good one to start with. This video you're commenting on is part of a series to build a game kzbin.info/aero/PL_D-RntzgLvYIxI_Kuwy1f7HedxTF2GPK If you have almost no programming experience then it'd be good to start with learning the fundamentals (variable, function, class, etc.) but don't spend too much time on that IMO, get the basics and start building then keep learning along the way.
