As I have watched some of your old videos, I realized that they really are a love letter to Trish. I realize Mark is behind the camera most of the time and you record a lot of great RV information, and of course there are scenes with your children, but his camera work is focused a lot on Trish. It is very apparent how much you love Trish and this adventure you are on together. Very touching!

My wife and I have been shopping for an RV for six months now, we have made our decision and sometime in the near future we will be making a purchase. I really wish that I had bought one earlier before my kids grew up, my baby is 15 yrs old but with work, sports and life it was not doable. I will be retiring from the fire dept in six years and would like to get at least two summers with my baby girl and maybe have our two older boys join us a few times. What I really wanted to say is that while doing all my research I came across your channel. I just now finished watching all your seasons. It was fantastic, you had sooooo much information on your videos that helped us decide on a rig and to see how to set up cabinets and all the options for storage. Its a small 25 foot Forest River which will be plenty for us. My wife is already making plans on where to travel to and places to go. By the way at 10 minutes into this video you stopped at a gas station that you had a hard time getting into. I live 20 minutes away from there. Thank you, god bless your family and Buen Camino. (I'm an avid hiker, watch the movie "the Way" with Emilio Esteves and Martin Sheen, if you haven't seen it on your movie nights. you'll love it.)

Sometimes I get all choked up, thinking that I've watched Caleb grow up -- starting the day in Season One when he said, " _I'll_ go with you, Dad". But, then I realize that while he continues to mature, he will never, ever, truly "grow up". For that matter, neither will I. 😜

We planned our 2020 eastern trip pre Covid. Our plan was to enter Maine after Labor Day weekend from Massachusetts. We didn’t have any issues traveling form Alabama in June to Massachusetts via Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. One private campground near Lake Placid asked to see our previous campground receipts showing we had been in New York for the past two weeks. We didn’t fill out any forms. We just drove from state to state to our next reservation. We stay primarily in Federal and State campgrounds and only the campground in Lake Placid asked for anything. We learned of Maine’s draconian rules and decided to ditch Maine. We met several Maine residents and said their governor has destroyed their tourist industry.

I just love your son.....he cracks me up.....we watch your videos all the time....we so want to get another RV but to buy right now is unreal! We were full timers in 2000 before you tube how to’s were out there and before all the nice apps to help you out. We were out there for couple of years but totaled our first 5th wheel on HWY 10 in Texas was a freak accident with high winds. Had great insurance with Foremost RV insurance and our replacement was even better than our first one. Headed back out on the road but I had a stroke and lost a great deal of my vision and ending up at our daughters mooch-docking was great until winter in Minnesota is a big no-no in our rig. So sold it......so sad to have to let it go. If as they say “God willing and the creeks don’t rise” we want to get out there again but.....keeping a home base....which by the way is a very large 5th wheel in a park set up permanently here in Tennessee. We sold our house to simplify our lives as keeping house in a rig is so much easier than a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. Anyway love your videos, thanks so much hope to see you on the road sometime in the future. Be safe and continue to have fun. Family time is so important. Mrs. Staton of Tennessee.

I just got back from Maine. My friends lives in Scarborough and works in Portland. We went to her friends family lakeside cottage and it was a blast. He brought live lobster and clams. He made crab salad for an entrée. The next day he made lobster rolls. The best ever! We were going to go to Acadia but it was raining and very foggy. Instead on the way back we took Route 1 south along the coast. It was so beautiful. I took the Tappan Zee bridge to avoid NYC. Gosh that was gorgeous. I headed back to Virginia through Pennsylvania. One the way there and back, the traffic and drivers got a little hairy for me. But driving throughout Maine was so relaxing. I can only imagine what it was like pulling a trailer in busy highways and interstates.

I am with Mark on the Lobster. I grew up 13 miles away from fresh off the boat lobster and I still prefer Deep-fried Clams or fish. I used to hate it as a kid, now I don't mind it on occasion. Wow! I now know what MKT means. "Hey, S*#@r wanna buy some way overpriced seafood". A lobster roll and fries cost $13 CDN where I come from. Lobster is now at record low prices because of a lack of demand or the closure of the markets because of COVID. So prices should be more reasonable. Maybe it is because you so close to Boston and people are willing to spend that kinda money.

We went through that back at the end of July. We were headed for Bar Harbor and took a rapid test in Billerica Massachusetts at Care Well Urgent Care. We timed it out so we would enter Maine within 72 hours of the test as required. I saw how you took the test I can tell you the technician in Care Well tilted our heads and inserted the q-tip to the back of our sinus about 3.5 - 4 inches in, OUCH. We received the results in about an 15 minutes it was $160 each. You are correct leaving Maine going from North to South on the East coast every state we entered said if you came from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts that you were ok. Not the same if you are headed North. Funny though we kept a file with all the paperwork tests, statements of locations etc.. and were never asked for it anywhere. at that time I know we were just days ahead of changes being made in several of the New England states.

OMG - Bob's Clam Hut! I am so envious. Their food is incredible. I'm not a lobster roll fan either but their fried clams truly are to die for. The best I've ever tasted - on either coast! And, according to my wife, their fried shrimp are just as good. I'm not sure what the place was like during your visit (effects of Covid-19) but when we were there a couple of years ago, it was so busy, they had staff members directing traffic out on the street. Its one of those places that should be declared a national treasure :-)

Marc and Trish - After watching this, it felt like reliving our trip to Maine this past summer. We live in South Carolina and took our F250 and Reflection 312BHTS (one of your old rigs) up to NY for a family reunion. I noticed your clip of driving on Rt 12 through Utica (must have got off for fuel?) which is near where my wife is from. I also had a tough spot when I had to get fuel in Massachusetts like you did. Had to fuel up at a regular station with the trailer and had my wife make sure I wasn't going to hit the pump when I pulled out (due to the tail swing that you showed). We also were concerned about going into Maine with the travel restrictions but after talking to someone at the travel office about what you can and can not do without a COVID test, it really was restricting you to outdoor activities only, which we were fine with. We had to have the Certificate of Compliance form filled out for each campground we stayed at. We stayed near Kennebunkport at Sandy Pines Campground and then to Bass Harbor Campground (near Bar Harbor). There's not a whole lot of campgrounds in the Bar Harbor area that have full hookups, but this campground did. It was an awesome time and did plenty of walking/hiking. There's plenty of lobster shacks in the Kennebunkport area and the price was $5/lb (1 lb) or $6/lb for the 1 1/4 lb. and they'll steam them for you. A lot cheaper than the restaurants, but also we couldn't dine at the restaurants anyways due to COVID restrictions. Happy travels!

Since you're in the area (roughly), I hope you'll consider going to Mystic Seaport in Conn. Its a 10-acre area where historic New England buildings have been moved (instead of being scrapped) to preserve the past. The people dress in period costumes and use the tools & materials of the time. If you decide to go, be sure to take the tour of the "Morgan," the only authentic whaling ship in existence.

At a Girl Trish no R in the vo-cab but I thought the LOBBY ROLL was a little on the small side but it would be like $60.00 for two but it comes in a sub roll so it would be like 4 of those. Welcome to my back yard.

I'm with you. No lobster for me. I would take scallops or shrimp or fish any day.

Living in Vermont, we have so few numbers because of early response. It is scary for some to see out of staters come and not follow guidelines. Thank you for being the amazingly respectful people you are. My daughter works in a nursing home. She is swabbed every ten days. You also WILL be sent home for a runny nose. They have COVID funding to pay workers that get sent home.

You made it! Love Maine, all that stuff. Can’t wait to see more videos. Thanks for taking us with you. So fun!! Lobstah was a little expensive. Maybe a steamed one would be cheaper. I think one year, a lobstah dinner was $17. Market price. Enjoy!
