This actually reminded me of my ex two friends that kind of ghosted me some years ago, without knowing really what I did to them. I’m someone who values friendships right, If I hear a friend spoke evil about me, I will talk to them straight just to know what really transpired for them to talk bad about me. But also one thing, If a friend distance themselves or ignores me multiple times, I don’t go look for them further, because that says so much about them and our friendship. They don’t value our friendship and it’s okay to let them go, even if what they heard was not true.

@@lesheniheita1538 that last part is very important “even if they heard was not true”, I’ve quickly come to realize that people tend to believe what they want. Otherwise I feel we can at least give our friends the benefit of the doubt and hear their side of the story, and they can maybe apologize. But people these days are quick to discard others, when you would have done anything for them. Such is life. Keep and Appreciate those who choose to stay

Thank you for the wisdom. Recognizing when a chapter with someone has ended is crucial. Holding onto a person whose time in your life has passed can cause unnecessary pain (such persons will not defend you in your absence/unnecessary gossips etc).
